Apple devices run Sonix through player apps from the App Store, with no workarounds or special settings. Apple TV gives the best big-screen experience; iPhone and iPad are perfect for watching around the house.

Setup
Steps on Apple TV
Open the App Store
Search for the player app we recommended and select Get.
Add your details
Choose to add a playlist or account. Type with the Siri Remote, or use your iPhone’s keyboard when the prompt appears.
Wait for the first load
Channels and the guide download the first time you open the app.
Pin it to the top row
Move the app to the top row of the home screen for one-click access.
AirPlay or app?
Two ways to get Sonix onto the TV

Small things that make Apple TV nicer
Match frame rate
In Settings → Video and Audio, turning on “Match Frame Rate” can make sport and films look smoother.
Keyboard on your iPhone
When a text field opens on the TV, a keyboard prompt appears on your iPhone. Much faster than the remote.

Are the player apps free?
Some are free, some charge a one-time fee or offer in-app purchases set by the app maker. We tell you about any cost before you install the app we recommend.
Can I use the same login on iPhone and Apple TV?
Ask us about watching on more than one screen at once. You can install the app on both and enter the same details.
Does Sonix work on an old Apple TV (3rd generation)?
No. Older Apple TV models without the App Store cannot install player apps. Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K are supported.
Do I need to jailbreak anything?
No. Everything installs from the App Store. Never jailbreak a device to install apps for streaming.
